When you file a claim, you will be required to submit additional required documents to support your claim. These documents are in the form of a checklist and the checklist will be specific to the type of claim you file (Loss/Damage). If your claim is in Pending status, that means that you have not submitted a document for each checklist item and need to go in and submit the missing document. A claim will not be reviewed if it is in Pending status. Once the checklist is completed, the claim will move into Processing status which tells you that the claims adjuster will be reviewing the claim. Claims adjusters aim to review a claim, and provide updates within 3-5 business days of the claim entering Processing status.
